On Friendship: A Storytelling Event
We’re thrilled to host the wonderful Toronto based publication With/out Pretend again at Queen Books. This time we will be celebrating the publication of their project The Vault’s newest collection “On Friendship”.
How do we describe the weird worlds we build inside our friendships? In some ways, it’s as easy as the line in the finale of Broad City when Ilana tells Abbi, “I’ve never felt so cool. Not as cool as when I’m with you.”
Celebrate with us as we launch the newest print collection from The Vault, On Friendship (published by With/out Pretend). We’ll have a short storytelling program, featuring stories from four remarkable women on what this topic means to them.
Storytelling 8:15 – 9
Drinks & snacks!
At the event we will be selling issues of On Friendship & its companion zine, “Best Friends For Now.” Or, buy a VIP ticket to get both print issues included in your ticket price! WHAT A DEAL.
Queen Books is an accessible venue but their washroom is up a half flight of stairs. Some seating will be available for those who need it! If you have any access requests or queries please contact Ameema at firstname.lastname@example.org
