DESCRIPTION:Queen Books Invites you to our Spring Literary Mixer! \nA night of cocktails\, books\, dance\, and those interesting generative literary conversations with fellow book lovers you’ve been waiting for. \nThink one of Joan Didion’s famous cocktail parties meets Maya Angelou dancing with the poet Amiri Baraka in the nineties meets the famous ‘Paris Review Party’ but all INSIDE YOUR LOCAL BOOKSHOP. \nTickets are $80 (or $150 for two) with each includes two cocktails and a $40 credit to use towards books of your choosing. Maybe even one that a new literary friend recommends to you. \nWhen you purchase your ticket you’ll be asked to give 2 book titles you’d recommend to a best friend. We’ll try to have titles mentioned on hand for the party! \n
